SinConcave

SinConcave^® is a mixing and flow concept for powder mixers developed by amixon. The name derives from the sinusoidally concave geometry of the mixing elements and the mixing chamber. This enables a targeted shear flow and gentle circulation of the bulk material.

The SinConcave^® principle generates predominantly shear-dominated flows with low shear stress. This homogenises powders, granulates and sensitive particles without unnecessarily comminuting or segregating them. At the same time, it facilitates thorough residual discharge and ease of cleaning.
