Quality Assurance

Quality assurance encompasses all planned and systematic measures that ensure products, processes and services meet defined quality requirements. The aim is to identify deviations at an early stage, prevent errors and ensure consistently high quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.

In process engineering, quality assurance includes, amongst other things, the monitoring of raw materials, process parameters and end products. This involves tests, measurements, documentation and compliance with specifications, standards and validated procedures. Effective quality assurance extends from incoming goods inspection through ongoing process monitoring to final inspection.
