Lift and lower system for mixers

The solution shown on the left is interesting. An amixon® conical mixer is filled with the contents of a bulk goods container. The mixer is lowered for this purpose. After filling, the mixing process starts. At the same time, the mixer is raised to its highest position. The discharge armature of the mixer is so high that the bulk material container can be pushed underneath. The time cycle per batch is:

(1) Positioning the container above the mixer +

(2) Filling time +

(3) Mixing time +

(4) Positioning of the container under the mixer +

(5) Emptying time. +

(6) Discharge of the bulk material container +

(7) Cleaning time.

In the case of identical or similar powder formulations, the (7) cleaning time is omitted, as the amixon® conical mixer can discharge free-flowing mixes almost completely.

The positioning time of the container under the mixer (4) is also eliminated if the time for the lifting movement is faster than the mixing time. The mixer can be easily cleaned in the lowered position. Cleaning can be carried out either wet, damp or dry in an ergonomic and exemplary manner.

amixon mixers always achieve ideal mixing qualities for all types of dry and moist solids. Technical centres are available in many countries for product and process development: China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Thailand and the USA.
