Three-dimensional total flow

amixon® defines three-dimensional total flow as the complete, dead-space-free flow of the entire mixture in the mixing chamber. The result is a statistically random distribution of the dispersed system – ideal mixing quality.

amixon® refers to the complete, dead-space-free flow of the entire mixture in the mixing chamber as three-dimensional total flow.

This happens regardless of whether the powder is dry, moist or wet. Each individual particle moves freely and relative to all surrounding particles.

This creates the conditions for complete mixing.

This three-dimensional circulation is generated by the rotating, vertically arranged amixon® mixing auger. It initiates a flow that completely covers all volume areas of the mixing chamber.

The result is a statistically random distribution of the dispersed system – ideal mixing quality. This uniform distribution cannot be further improved by any other mechanical mixing process. amixon® therefore guarantees ideal mixing quality – regardless of the filling level of the mixer and regardless of the geometry of the mixing chamber: whether cylindrical, conical, double-cylindrical or spherical.
