The Clever-Cut principle
With the Clever-Cut principle, inspection doors are manufactured in such a way that the door frame and door leaf continue the original shell contour with virtually no offset. The door leaf is precisely cut out of the tank wall, fitted with suitable reinforcements and seals, and then reinserted flush with the recess. This construction minimises dead spaces and steps, reduces the build-up of residues and facilitates cleaning – a significant advantage in hygiene-critical processes or during product changes.
In the context of amixon® equipment, the Clever-Cut principle enables large, easily accessible inspection openings that are nonetheless gas- and vacuum-tight and can safely withstand the pressure and temperature stresses of mixing, drying or reaction processes. Optional temperature-controlled Clever-Cut inspection doors also help to prevent condensation and product build-up in the inspection area, thereby supporting consistent product quality and facilitating simple CIP/SIP or manual cleaning.
