History

The company was founded as Ruberg-Mischtechnik KG in Paderborn, Germany in 1983 for the manufacture of precision mixers with vertical mixing shafts.

The resulting mixers, dryers and reactors were always designed to meet individual needs and fulfilled the highest requirements in terms of mixing quality. 

Over time the company began to work internationally. In 1994 a technical service centre was built in Memphis/Tennessee, USA. In 2006 another technical service centre was built in Osaka, Japan.

In order to market our products worldwide, the amixon® brand was launched and legally protected worldwide in 2003. The reason for choosing this name were the difficulties that many East Asian customers had with pronounce the name Ruberg.

Ruberg-Mischtechnik GmbH + Co. KG and its affiliated Clever-Cut® GmbH, founded in the year 2000, are members of the amixon® Group.  With its high-pressure water torch, Clever-Cut® can cut three-dimensional components measuring up to 3 m x 3 m x 6 m to 1/10 mm accuracy and, in particular, manufacture hygienic inspection doors.
